Mission Statement

Because of our love and enjoyment of Scottish music, dancing, athletics, clan gatherings, and other Scottish activities, we set forth as our purpose the promotion and preservation of those activities that are our Scottish heritage and culture. In order to accomplish this, we have banded together to form an organization we have named The Scottish-American Cultural Society of Ohio, Inc. (SACSO), through which we will preserve our Scottish heritage for future generations to love and enjoy as we do today.

We appreciate and believe in each other, our volunteers, and our employees. We strive for excellence in performance in ourselves and our projects. We manage by goals, not by crisis. We observe sound financial management in order to work toward fiscal independence. We grow to the needs of the people we serve. We will work positively to accommodate change.
